Chris Roine
Chris has been a member of Donovan & Company since 2007. He received his law degree from the University of Western Ontario and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1993 and to the British Columbia Bar in 2000. Chris received his Masters of History from Simon Fraser University in 1996.
Chris worked for the BC Treaty Commission from 1997 to 2000 and resumed his law practice in 2000 as a sole practitioner before joining Donovan & Company.
Chris represents his First Nation clients on consultation & accommodation matters, corporate & commercial matters, governance matters, specific claims, and treaty negotiations.
Outside of his law practice, Chris is an often mystified parent, a frequent subject of physiotherapy after sporting events, a harried volunteer for community and charitable events, and he wouldn’t change a thing about it (…. maybe the physiotherapy).
