Ceilidh Stubbs

Ceilidh joined Donovan & Company in 2019, after articling and briefly working as an associate at a large corporate commercial law firm in Vancouver.  She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2019.

During law school, Ceilidh completed the co-op work program and gained legal experience working with the Department of Justice’s Litigation Branch, a boutique Aboriginal law firm, and the University of Victoria’s Law Centre, an clinic that supports low-income clients with a range of legal issues, including criminal, employment and human rights.

Prior to attending law school, Ceilidh gained experience working with First Nations communities in resource management and community planning while working as a program manager for a renewable resources board in the Northwest Territories and as a socio-economic consultant for northern First Nations communities.

Ceilidh grew up between Whitehorse and Calgary.  While she’s not working, Ceilidh can be found exploring the local mountains, testing a new recipe, and dreaming of her next adventure.
